An optional solar panel can provide supplemental charging for a rechargeable motorized shade. It does not change the shade style, and it is not included unless the selected motor package explicitly says “+ Solar Panel.”

When a solar panel can be useful
- The window receives suitable daylight.
- The charging port is inconvenient to reach.
- You want to reduce manual charging frequency.
When it may be less useful
Deeply shaded windows, covered exterior areas, heavy overhangs and low-light orientations may provide less useful exposure. Performance depends on placement and conditions.
Available package paths
Applicable products may offer Remote Rechargeable + Remote, Zigbee + Remote or Matter + Remote, each with a separate “+ Solar Panel” version. App and voice features still depend on compatible Zigbee or Matter equipment; the solar panel does not add smart-home compatibility by itself.

FAQ
Does every motorized shade include a solar panel?
No. Only options labeled “+ Solar Panel” include one.
Does the shade still have a rechargeable motor?
Yes. The panel supports the rechargeable system; it does not replace the motor package.
Does solar charging guarantee zero manual charging?
No. Charging performance depends on daylight exposure, placement and usage.
